We loved the location in the old part of the town. We only used it as a one night stopover at the start of a cruise and cycling week and chose it so that we could spend a day in Split. We cancelled the room the following week as after a tiring week of cycling we needed somewhere nearer the airport but if came to Split again would use again and certainly recommend to friends.
The main advantage of this hotel is it`s location in the very center of the old city and of cos the staff very attentive, thanks!
I don`t like the breakfast it`s too poor!
The girls in the resepsjon Are fantastisk smiling and helpful. Thank you very much.
Very bad Internett koneksion...
Its in a great location, very clean and extremely helpful and friendly staff. A/C works great and is needed.
Breakfast is small but wouldn't let that put you off.
The staff at the Hotel Slavija was very friendly and helpful from the minute I walked through the door. The location of the hotel could not have been better for a visit to Split. Free breakfast every morning was very nice as a start to the day. I would recommend the Hotel Slavija for anyone visiting Split and will definitely be returning to this beautiful city.
Internet access in the room would have been nice, but it didn't really bother me as I was on vacation and not surfing the web.
I thought that the breakfast could have a bit more range.
Hotel Slavija was excellent, I was there for my stag weekend and all of the 16 lads on it didn't have a bad word to say. The staff are very friendly and helpfull and gave us all the information we needed. There is a nice little bar and plenty of nice restaurants right on the door step. I would recommend Slavija for any stay in Split.
Excellent location in Old Palace in Split. Large room. Breakfast ok. Staff were very helpful, and gave lots of assistance with information.
A little noisy on Friday and Saturday night from Bar downstairs. No lift.
The male hotel clerk on duty upon our arrival and the one woman clerk on depature were very professional, courteous and also helped in carrying our bags. To get to the hotel you go through an outside cafe with 2 sets of stairs, then 2 more sets of stairs to the hotel door. Once inside the hotel, there is no elevator (lift), so there are a few more flights of stairs.
Only the multitude of stairs when you had luggage.
The rooftop terrace and the helpful receptionist.
The breakfast 'orange juice' was not real orange juice and was very disappointing. The room in which breakfast was eaten was dismal with no view.
The staff was friendly and helped us in every way they could. They gave us a room situated so that my wife had to climb a minimum number of steps.
No elevator (lift).
Location and staff were great. Very convenient for sight-seeing in Split.
The hotel overlooks a city plaza where several restaurants and a disco are located. So be prepared for some noise.
the location is fantastic and the reception staff were friendly, informative and helpful
the hotel is extremely basic, too expensive for what it offers they should have safes in the rooms (should not have to leave money/cards/ valuables in general safe at reception too many people have access to this) and it would be a nice touch to have a small fridge in room and finally though towels were changed every day our bed was changed only once in five days
wonderfull posittion in the centre of the old city and Diocletian palace
Fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff. Right in the heart of the old town and also very convenient for the Riva, ferries to the islands and the drop off for the airport bus.
There were bars quite close to the hotel so some noise, but it was fine if the windows were closed and the rooms have air con so this is possible.
